Eager to carry on adventuring we drove to the hidden little town of St Paul de Vence. It’s high up in the hills and completely picture perfect. Complete with cobbled streets, beautiful art galleries and views for days.
I’d been before but had completely forgotten how beautiful it was.
We grabbed a snack and watched the locals play boules.
Crepes and boules, all very French.
Time to wander..
It’s one of the oldest medieval towns on the French Riviera dating back to the 14th century.
We dipped in and out of art galleries – something that St Paul de Vence is very famous for due to the beautiful, intense colours and light that fall on the town. Matisse and Picasso have even paid the quaint, cobbled town a visit.
The perfect place for an afternoon amble.
